Sportiqe
Roam in comfort.
Sportiqe was founded on the idea that clothing was a type of armor; a comfort against whatever the day may throw at you. Each of their clothing designs emphasize high quality material and comfortable fit, while remaining effortlessly stylish.
The Strategy
While the client has had plenty of content created before, the majority of it was too polished and orchestrated; it lacked an element of authenticity. We wanted to give the product context, and create a set of lifestyle images that were more casual and fitted for social media.
To prepare for their upcoming Fall catalog, we spent a day in gorgeous Sedona, Arizona, exploring its red rocks and cityscape.
Diversity, unified.
With a wide variety of outfits and looks, it was important to capture the full range of their products while maintaining a unified aesthetic.
Our sets ranged between casual lounging in an intimate setting, to business attire, to outdoor adventures.
To achieve this, I paid close attention to the lighting conditions of each scene, and dialed in the colors for each collection carefully to match an overall tone.
With warm highlights and cool shadows, Sportiqe wanted something that felt rustic and timeless, and that’s what we achieved in our color palette. Because the lighting and color cast conditions from each location were sometimes quite different, post-processing for each collection had to be done by hand in order to ensure a coherent look.
In action.
The new content has completely transformed the brand’s social media aesthetic to give it a refreshed and coherent look.
